TTL Clarity

Good morning to my readers, I hope that you’re all having a good day so far!  It’s a little overcast today here in Millbrae, but that can change at the drop of a hat here in the San Francisco bay area.  It’s actually kind of refreshing to have this cooler weather, considering how hot it’s been lately.

Today I bring you a talented photographer on Etsy named Joseph Ellman and his shop is TTLClarity, based in Poughkeepsie, New York.  He specializes in expert photography of the Hudson Valley and Beyond.

Joseph deems himself as “once complicated, now fairly simple”.  In 2014, Joseph was diagnosed with leukemia, which is when he decided it was time to simplify and work on projects that he enjoys, which included a return to his work in photography.

As a documentary and fine art style photographer, Joseph’s passion is documenting life around him, whether it be a scenic country landscape; a city street; or a train rolling down the tracks.

Each of Joseph’s images tells a story and each has contributed to his journey towards maintaining his mental and physical well-being.

As you can see from the examples I’ve just shown, Joseph’s photography will make for stunning home or office accent pieces, especially in a nice frame.  He offers his unique photographs at TTLClarity, so be sure to check out all of his work!

Joseph explains TTL Clarity as…

“It’s a way of seeing……a way of thinking……a method of creative expression…

The result is…Simple, Peaceful, Clear

TTL is a common photography abbreviation for “Through the Lens.”

It’s where I find simplicity…It’s where I find peace…It’s where life becomes clear.”

You can also find Joseph and his work at;  on his blog at; on Facebook; on Twitter; on Instagram; on Google+; on Zazzle; on RedBubble and on Fine Art America

Below is Joseph’s “Foggy Morning on the Hudson River” Photograph, which I’ve featured in a Polyvore set.
